The in-app manual is the primary reference
IzzyIRC ships a complete HTML user manual inside the app — an index plus cross-linked topic pages covering connecting, DCC, scripting basics, settings, and keyboard shortcuts. No external requests. Open it from Help ▸ IzzyIRC Help or press ⌘?. The Scripts Editor has its own Help menu pointing to the scripting sections directly.

No. IzzyIRC is an independent, unofficial project, built from scratch and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by mIRC Co. Ltd. See the trademark notice for the full statement.
Is IzzyIRC free?
Yes. No subscription, no account, and no telemetry. It's a solo project built and maintained in spare time.
Is there a Windows or Linux version?
No — IzzyIRC is a native macOS application built with Swift and SwiftUI for macOS 14 and later, with no cross-platform plans at this time.
Can I bring scripts I've already written?
If you're coming from a classic, script-driven Windows IRC client, most existing scripts sort directly into IzzyIRC's five-section Scripts Editor (Aliases, Remote, Users, Variables, Popups) with little to no changes. See the scripting guide for the syntax basics.
Where can I download it?
IzzyIRC hasn't shipped a signed build yet. The download page has the current status, and the changelog tracks progress toward a release.
