A real scripting language

Aliases, event handlers, custom commands — write in a full scripting language built into the app, not a plugin API bolted onto someone else's client. React to joins, parts, mode changes, and anything else IRC can fire.

DCC, done properly

Send and receive files directly between users, resume interrupted transfers, run a fileserver, and operate behind NAT with passive and reverse DCC. The part most clients quietly dropped.

Multi-server, multi-network
